At The Oriental Breeds Championship Show, Rio won his 3rd point towards his Irish Junior Title, his first Green Star, and Best of Breed under Judge, Peter Van Baaren - Grob, from the Netherlands.

Later on in the day, Rio went on to win BIS 4, Under French Judge Christian Jouanchiot. Delighted!
At the N.I Cavalier Group Open Show on Saturday 10th February, Rio won Best of Breed under A Bates (Scotland), and went on to win BIS 4 under Rosemary Coulter.

At the Joint Pug Club Championship Show on Sunday 9th April (hosted by The Northern Pug Dog Club) Rio won Junior Dog under Breed Specialist Michelle Swinge (Balthazar). I am delighted!

At Fermoy International Championship Show on 5th May, Rio won the RCACIB under J Constantine (USA).
The following day at South Tipperary Canine Club Championship Show, Rio won his 2nd Green Star, RBOB and 4th point towards his Junior Champion Title.

At Hibernian Championship Show on Saturday 12th May, Rio won his 5th and final point towards his Junior Champion Title (subject to IKC confirmation), and the Reserve Green Star under Philomena Leonard (Ireland).
At The Irish Toy/Companion Group 9 Championship Show in Cloughran on 26th May, Rio won his 3rd Green Star and BOB under Italian Pug Specialist Paolo Lovaligo. He later went on to win BIS 4 under V Nataletti.

After a long break, Rio returned to the ring with a bang, winning Yearling Dog, and the Reserve CC at The Pug Dog Club Championship Show under Breed Specialist Florence (Joan) Fox. I am over the moon!

At Bull Breeds Championship Show on Monday 29th October 2018, Rio was awarded his 5th Green Star, and Best of Breed, by Irish Breed Specialist PJ Collins, who later went on to short-list him in Group 9. Great day!

At The Ulster Chihuahua Toy Open Group Show on 3rd November Rio won best of Breed under Carol Conquest (Storyland), and then went on to win Best in Show under Gordon Gault (Moonwhispers).
At an IKC Charity Open Show held in Cloughran on Sunday 18th November, Rio won Best of Breed under Breed Specialist Tish O'Flaherty. He went on to win Group 2 under Noel Beggs (Evrerready). Nice show to end off our 2018 Show Season …
