The Stork has been to Phouka!
I mated Popinjay Ruby Tuesday (Sire: GB CH Boynhams Utter Nutter Ragemma JW ShCM x GB CH Tremorvah Cornish Charm at Popinjay) to Ragemma Strictly Solo (Ragemma Texas Holdum X GB CH Ragemma Strictly Kosher JW ShCM) towards the end of January 2020, and the litter was born 5 days early on Friday 20th March (naturally).
"Solo" holds a Gold Health Testing under the Northern Pug Dog Club's National Health Scheme, and "Ruby" holds a Silver Certificate under the same Scheme.
Ruby took it all in her stride, and gave birth to 4 boys and a girl. Unfortunately one of the boys was born breach and came out without his sack, so he didn't make it. We did our best to revive him, but it just wasn't meant to be.
Ruby has been a fantastic mother, she was very attentive to her babies, and made my life a lot easier. Saying that she is now glad to glad to have peace, and is going though a big hormonal moult. Apart from that she is in good shape for having had a litter recently.
The puppies were 8 weeks old on Friday the 15th of May 2020, and got their first injections. They are called Ruairi, Dylan, Cody and Ayra. I am keeping Ruairi and Ayra to show. Cody is going to live in a 5 Star pet home in Ballynahinch with a very good friend of mine (who works in my Vets and has been a great help to me with the babies). Dylan is moving to Suffolk to live with another good friend of mine to be shown - he will live like a King.
